life as a student during a pandemic

 Hello there!

It has been a long time since I write anything in my blog. I was busy having my semester two and preparations for my final examination. I would say that my preparation for my final is not much as I was having my struggles and my problems that I have to face alone during those days. I was really sad and I was really (we can say depressed) during that days. This happened because of the online classes that we have to attend and not having any physical class. I was losing my confidence and losing my faith in myself like I was giving up on my studies. I cannot continue doing my work or attending classes. My life at that time was like automatic life, going with the flow only. I don’t care what happened about the studies, for instance, I just join the class and cannot focus much on the lectures. When doing grouping work is a lot worse for me as I don’t care about the group work. It is so tiring and exhausting, but fortunately, I survive the process until the end of sem. Even though I survived semester two, I don’t know how am I going to be for semester three after this. Hope all is well especially for my dear friends. I hope that my friends (best friends) can manage to get good grades and be the best for onwards semester.

Life as a student during a pandemic. That is the topic I am going to discuss for this post. I am aware that the covid cases are increasing from days to days or we can say maintaining higher cases every day. This is why online classes are being held and most of the students are not allowed to have physical class as it may increase the risk of Coronavirus. So, most of the students can easily adapt to the online environment and some are not.  Some of the students are facing difficulties with the online classes such as the connection and the ability to focus during a lecture.

After months being held online, few of the students have some side effects when doing classes by online. Some are having depression and some are facing self struggling. This is because, every students have different strengths to fight through all. I mean that there are students who are strong enough to fight against it, but also there are students who cannot manage it well. Some cannot handle stress very well and starts to argue why they have to study and all. This happen as students can’t manage the overwhelming feelings and the load of assignment on online classes. Doing online classes, all the students need to be more hard-working and diligent to get the best marks during examination or doing assignment.

When the students really depends on the teachers and lecturers to give them all the answers, it must be hard for both of them. Instead of waiting for the answers, students should find by their own or at least go for a consultation. Other than that, lecturers treatment to the students is one of he factor why the students get easily stress out. This shows by some of the recent viral news which some of the lecturers did not understand the situation of the students which having difficulties to have online exam and submit the assignments on time. Educators should be more linear and be polite as possible. We can also say that lecturers must have empathy and sympathy to treat all the students. Without having empathy and sympathy, that is not a good trait for an educator. So, it is a must to consider about others.

Well, I have talk long enough, but somehow, after all what I can say is life as a student during a pandemic is tough. Even, we just stay at home, but still it is tough to learn. Hope all is well for students out there.

Good luck and all the best in your life! May success belongs to you!
